Obituary of Madeline "Betty" Machuk

Unexpectedly at Victoria Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre, on Thursday, March 19, 2009, Madeline “Betty” Elizabeth Machuk in her 81st year. Cherished wife of Fred Machuk, of London, for 55 years. Dear mother of Star Hamacher of London, Angel Seguin & her husband David of Vancouver and Paris Machuk & his wife Linda of London. Devoted grandmother of Amanda and Allison Machuk. Lovingly remembered sister of Helen, Harriet, Jack, Kathleen and the late Jim. Predeceased by her parents Madeline C. Holmes and William Duncan. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the London Hillcrest Salvation Army, 310 Vesta Rd., on Monday, March 23rd, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Major Larry Bridger officiating. A private family interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Donations to the Lung Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be greatly appreciated by the family.
