Obituary of Robert James Coghlan

Peacefully, at Kensington Village, on Tuesday May 23, 2006. Robert James Coghlan, formerly of Corunna, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Stacia Marie Coghlan (2001). Loving father of Carolyn (Rick) Nordin of Victoria, B.C., Bob (Louise) Coghlan of London, and John Coghlan of Ottawa. Grandfather of Craig & Jenna Nordin, Chris, Pat & Shaun Coghlan. Great-grandfather of Sophie Coghlan. Predeceased by sister Jean Dart & brother Jack Coghlan. Also survived by brother Don Coghlan and many nieces & nephews. Bob's 40 year career as a Mechanical Engineer started with 3 years in the Army during WWII and then took them across Canada where they made many friends. A Memorial Service will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), on Saturday May 27, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. with Chaplain Maureen Dwyer officiating. Interment of Bob & Stacia's ashes will take place at a later date in Corunna, Ontario. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
