Obituary of Harry Bowman Rollason
Peacefully at Thamesview Lodge, Chatham, on Friday July 30th, 2004. Harry Bowman Rollason in his 91st year. Husband of the late Jessie Isabella “Isa” (McFarlane) Rollason (1992). Dear father of Patricia Inns (Doug) of Tupperville and the late Harry Rollason (2004) of Chatham. Survived by his daughter-in-law Marilyn Rollason of Chatham. Cherished Granddad of Kevin Rollason (Gail) of Winnipeg, Karen Hartai (Steve) of Chatham, Sheryl Inns (Richard) of Chatham and Bonnie Inns (Sonny) of Yellowknife. Great grandfather of Sarah and Mary of Winnipeg, Natalie and Samantha of Chatham, Nathan of Chatham, Mia, Riley and Conall of Yellowknife. Brother of Reg Rollason and Gladys Watt both of London. Dad enjoyed his baseball games on TV and on radio especially the New York Yankees as he became a fan of the Yankees at the tender age of 10. Dad was an active ball player well into his 50's and enjoyed 5 pin bowling into his 70's. Dad was in the army. World War II and served overseas from 1942-1945. Family will receive friends on Tuesday August 3rd, 2004 from 12-2 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road, London. Following visitation the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 2 P.M. with Major Larry Bridger officiating. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
