Obituary
Obituary of Cecelia May "Ceal" Kemp
It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of "Ceal" at the age of 70 on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Parkwood Hospital. Beloved wife of Lloyd. Cherished mother of Norm. Loving step-mother to Lloyd Jr. (Patsy), Kelly (Don), Lisa (Brian), David, Kathy (David). Sadly missed by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She will also be extremely missed by her furry "kids" Mittens & Boots. Predeceased by her parents Robert Hooper and Mary Rigney, step-father Phil Rigney and brother Raymond Hooper.
We would like to especially thank the staff at L.H.S.C. and the Parkwood Palliative Care Unit for the compassionate care she was given. Also, a very special thank you to her best friends – John and Jill MacDuff – who were there for her on a daily basis giving her and Lloyd love and support that was greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten.
A Celebration of Ceal’s Life will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), on Monday, February 24, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. (Visitation from 12-1pm). Interment of ashes in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences can be expressed at www.evansfh.ca
