Obituary of Alfredo Paiva Alves

Peacefully, at University Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre, surrounded by his family, on Monday October 11, 2004, Alfredo Paiva Alves, of London, in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Lidia Nunes Alves (Vieira). Dearly loved father of Maria and her husband Karl Hoesterey, of London, and Lydia Fuller and her partner Dave Guite of Salford. Cherished and sadly missed “Avo” to Justine, Kirsten, Corey, Kyle, Jacob and Joshua. Dear brother of Manuel Alves and wife Maria. Predeceased by 4 sisters. Alfredo will be missed by his many relatives, friends and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), for visitations on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. (Prayers 8:30 pm). Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday October 14, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Philip Joseph officiating. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery.
