Obituary of Richard "Wayne" Nichol

Suddenly and unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, October 2nd, 2012, Richard "Wayne" Nichol in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Brenda of 50 years. Loving father of Brenda Lee (Scott) Grundy and the late Rick (Pegg) Nichol (2001). Devoted Grandpa of Ashley and Lyndsay Grundy and Maddison, Noah and Reyse Nichol. Survived by 1 brother Terry (Ann), 2 sisters Claire (Reg) Reeves and Lynda (Colin) Miller and his sister-in-law Marcy (Tony) Suozzi, brother-in-law Marvin Ryder and sister-in-law Bonnie (Vince) Melvin. Predeceased by his brother Barrie. Wayne will be missed by his nieces, nephews, family and friends, especially all his golfing buddies and fellow musicians. Friends will be received at Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.) on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Evans Chapel on Saturday, October 6th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Dorchester Union Cemetery.
