I have had the privilege of working with Liz these past couple of years. I will always remember Liz's passion, dedication and her sense of humour, which, by the way, kept all of us on our toes! We were all so lucky to have Liz as a co-worker, but first and foremost as a valued friend. We loved Lizzie as she loved us. Deepest sympathies, Sue

I hope you can understand what I can't put to words and Lizzy will always remain in my heart- She brought so much happiness into the lives that she touched, and I am truly blessed to have called her a friend.

My heart ached when my sister Donna informed me of the passing of Liz on Saturday. Although not unexpected, the news was nevertheless a blow. Words seem so inadequate to express how badly I feel at this time. All I can say is that my family's hearts go out in sympathy to yours. We have been part of an extended family for over 30 years and I still remember the first time I met Liz. I was sitting in the living room with your father, your mother was in the kitchen making supper, and Lucy and Liz were beckoned into the living room to meet their future in-laws. When I first saw Liz, I thought she was a beautiful, shy young woman, with a nice smile. Little did I know how funny she could be when telling stories about her brothers. I know you will miss Liz deeply but you cannot forget about the blessings of the beautiful years you shared with her and the lives that Liz touched with her friendship, laughter, and her smile. Although she is no longer with us now, she lives on in the hearts of those lucky enough to have known her. You should know you have my families sympathy and our friendship. Should you need anything, we are here for you. Again, our prayers and sincere condolences.

My condolences Liz's family. I worked with Liz for over 21 years at Grand Wood Park. Whenever I went into GWP after I retired,Liz would find/come and see me. Lizicki is my pet name for her. Liz always had a smile and always said or did something to make others smile or outright laugh. Everyone will really miss Liz. Grand Wood Park will never be the same without her. I know that I will have a hard time going in to GWP and not being able to see her. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Sincerely Sandra Finley
