Obituary of Edith "Mickey" Draper

Peacefully, at Sprucedale Care Centre in Strathroy, in her 91st year, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her beloved husband David(1995). Cherished mother of Wayne (Donna) and Sharon (Jim Harrington). Dearly loved Nana to Shea, David, Mickey, Shannon, Rob and Dan. SuperNana to Maddison and Emily Machay and C.J.Martin. Mickey was known as the “little Mother” by her siblings Margaret, Ruth, Isabel, Sheila and Bill who she helped raise during the great depression due to her Mother’s chronic illness. A special thanks to the caregivers at Sprucedale Care Centre. Mickey’s family will receive friends at the EVANS FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday August 3rd, from 12 noon to 2p.m. Funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2p.m. Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of London Middlesex in lieu of flowers.
