Obituary of Vincent "Shawn" Shawnee George

Shawn George, 54, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 23, 2023 after being struck by a motor vehicle. Shawn is survived by his children Amber, Shawnee, Corbin, Joshua, Amanda, Destiny, Jeremiah, Renesmee, Carter, Montana, William, his girlfriend Jessica, siblings Mike (Andy), Cheryl (Bernie), Nick (Kim), Aaron, William (Courtney), his mother Dianne as well as many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by his father Henry, parent Benson, Son Jacob, Daughter Aqua and Brother Steve. Shawn grew up in London and in his later years was playfully known as the Grocery Cart Man or Homer. Shawn was a troubled soul, who didn’t always walk the right path, but will always be remembered by his siblings as one of their first best friends. His siblings were lucky enough to experience his great sense of humour and his kind soul and that is how we will remember him! Friends and family will be received at the EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 648 Hamilton Rd., on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, from 1-2pm. A Celebration of his Life will follow in the EVANS Chapel at 2 pm.
