Obituary of Vicki Lynne Daniel (Smith)

Passed away peacefully, at home in London, on Sunday, February 10, 2008 in her 55th year, after a 10 month courageous battle with cancer. Her last day was spent with all her family. Beloved partner of David McGillivray. Dear daughter of Helen Smith (Lindsay) of London, & the late Bailey Smith (1989). Predeceased by her grandparents Bill & Carrie Lindsay of St. Mary’s. Dearest sister of Kathie Martin (Tracy) of London,Lindsay Koopmans (Chuck) of London and David Smith (Michele) of Sweaburg. Loving niece of Keith & Lois Lindsay of London. Dear cousin of Pat & Peter Font of London, Sheila & Brian Kominek of London, Kevin & Lois Lindsay of Ingersoll and Scott & Laura Lindsay of St. Thomas. Vicki will be fondly remembered by her many other relatives and friends. Left behind are her beloved dog Sadie & her two cats Bud & Casey. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), London, on Thursday, February 14, 2008 from 2-4 p.m. Graveside service for burial of ashes will be held at a later date in Ingersoll Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the London Regional Cancer Program or the World Wildlife Fund would be appreciated by the family.
