Obituary of Joyce Evelyn Lillian Davidson

At Helen Henderson Care Centre, Amherstview, ON, on Monday, July 9, 2007, Joyce Davidson (Pont), formerly of London, in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Vincent Davidson (1984). Dear mother of Alan Davidson & his wife Cathy of Amherstview and Janet & her husband David Moody of London. Dear sister of the late Jim Pont. Cherished grandmother of 4 grandchildren; Geoff Davidson (Rhonda), Bridget (Dave) Dangel, Erin Moody (Kolin Jones), Alicia Moody (Mike Cornford) and 5 great-grandchildren; Matthew, Morgan, Rachel, Hannah & Alice. Also survived by sisters-in-law Joy Davidson, Dorothy Loucks, Doreen Davidson, Ann Pont & their families. Joyce was a longtime employee of Nortel (Northern Electric) & a member of the Pioneer Club. A Service to Celebrate Joyce’s life will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), on Monday, July 16, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. (visitation from 10-11am). Cremation with interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Donations to the Alzheimer Outreach Services, c/o McCormick Home Foundation, would be appreciated by the family.
