Obituary of Douglas Martin Campbell
Peacefully, at Victoria Hospital, on Monday, November 10, 2014, Doug passed away in his 87th year. Loving husband of the late Inez Campbell (2008) and father of Ralph (Lynda) of Sombra, Marilyn (Dan) Egan of St. Marys, Nancy Campbell of London & Bruce (Cheryl) of Belmont. Cherished grandfather of 6 grandchildren & 11 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by brother Ted.
Doug was a Member of Temple Lodge #597 A.F. & A.M. and the Golden Acres Chapter #305 – OES and was a longtime Manager for Eaton’s.
Family & friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will follow in the Evans Chapel on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Dorchester Union Cemetery. A Masonic Memorial Service under the auspices of Temple Lodge #597 A.F. & A.M. will be held in the Evans Chapel on Thursday at 6:45pm.
