Obituary of Denley Page Speare

Peacefully at LHSC-University Hospital on December 19th, 2012, Denley Page Speare in his 83rd year. Beloved wife of Barbara Speare of 62 years. Loving father of Dann (Julie), Christopher, Jennifer (Cliff) and Lori. Devoted Papa of Melissa, Danielle, Virginia, Katie, Michael, David, Georgia and Tori and great-papa of 7 great grandchildren. Survived by his sister Barbara Burk. Predeceased by his brothers Allan and Ted. Denley will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Denley dedicated 40 years of service to Bell Canada before his retirement. Friends will be received at Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd., (1 block east of Egerton St.) on Friday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Evans Chapel on Saturday, December 22nd, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 303 Riverside Dr., on Monday, December 24th, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. (Please meet at the front office by 9:20 a.m.) Donations to The Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation will be acknowledged by the family.
