Obituary of Dorothy Edith May Bailey (nee Dodds)

Peacefully, with her family by her side, at Victoria Hospital, London, on Tuesday, December 11, 2012, Dorothy Edith May Bailey (nee Dodds) in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late William "Bill" J. Bailey (June 28th, 2012) of 62 years. Proud mother of sons David (Bonnie), Larry (Carla) and Norman (Belva). Grandmother of Tracy (Dan), Wayne (Lisa), Holly (Adam) and Brian. Great-grandmother of Nicole, Sasha, Kaleb, Rayne, Asher and James. Dear sister of Donald & George Dodds and the late Emerson Dodds. Dorothy will be missed by all her friends and family. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Friday, December 14th, 2012 from 12-2pm. A Celebration of Dorothy’s Life will follow in the Evans Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
