I just read of Alec's passing. My condolences to you and your family. I played piano with Alec at Richmond Woods a few times. It was a joy to perform with him. His love of music and song was infectious. He loved to perform even through his nervousness. I will miss our musical performances together and his wonderful sense of humour. My deepest sympathies. I remember Alec when he was the host of WQLN's Movie Classics. It was back in the early 1990s and I was working at WJET-TV at the time. I was always so impressed at his film knowledge and on air charm. He really added a lot to the enjoyment of watching the films he would talk about. I now work at WQLN and for what it's worth - we still have the wing chair that he used and I can't pass it without thinking of him.
