Obituary of Agnes McDonald (Nessie) Moore
Peacefully at Mapleview Terrace on Friday, May 6, 2011 with her niece Debra at her side, Agnes McDonald Moore of London.
Beloved wife of the late Emmanuel Percy (Mannie) Moore. Dear sister of Jean Brown of Victoria B.C. Loved by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two sisters Mattie Norton and Arras Kenyon.
Nessie was an immensely kind and generous soul, dearly loved by many whose lives she touched. Children were her great passion and she devoted her career and volunteer efforts to enriching their lives. She distinguished herself as an award winning elementary school teacher and decorated volunteer with the Girl Guides of Canada. She was also a long time member and past Provincial President of Delta Kappa Gamma Society.
Friends will be received at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo and Colborne St.) on Tuesday from 2 – 4 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Paul Cathedral, 472 Richmond St., on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ruth Ferrier officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
