I first met Trainor in St John's, NL in 1953 when we lived in Barracks. I had contact over the years, but lost track in recent years. Trainor was a "solid" friend. I have many fond memories of work time and social time. I pray that God will comfort you. Trainor is at peace.

I offer my sincere condolences to the Fraser family. I worked in the same f=general area with Trainer in Ottawa in the early 1980s. He would ride on his motorcycle, and we had many chats on saving the world. He was a true gentleman and was respected by all who knew him in the RCMP. A great friend.

The photo of Trainor is how I remember him, except always in uniform with the ever present smile. I cannot say it better than Sandy! I worked for this fine man in Windsor and did a tour of duty in Ottawa when he was in Staffing for officers, I believe. We shall always honour his memory. Men like Trainor made the Force what it should be. Ricky and I offer our deepest sympathy to the family. Ralph & Ricky De Groot, Peterborough.

Sincere Condolences on the loss of your father. Trainor & I were stationed together in St. John's, NL.in 1953. He had a wonderful sense of humor & was well liked by all who knew him. Trainor & I rode motorcycles on highway patrol out of St. John's & he made fun of me when I crashed my motorcycle into the Post Garage. I had my revenge a week later when he went off the road on his motorcycle into a barbwire fence. We shared a laugh over our misfortune. May he RIP.

I read about Trainor's passing in a message from the RCMP Vets. I am sorry for your loss. My husband, Tom Kupusa served under Trainor in Windsor in the early 70's. I enjoyed making pies in those days & I always made sure Trainor got a pie. I only have good memories of Trainor & Windsor. He is going to be missed. Marg

I have taken Holy Communion to Trainor for the last 3 years. He was always welcoming although sometimes a little coddling was needed. Crossing himself and saying the Lord's Prayer were never forgotten. I have prayed for him daily and have missed and will miss seeing him. God bless his family, Sue

Dearest Marilyn: My heart goes out to you on the passing of your beloved Trainor. You truly had a very special bond with each other which could be observed whenever you were together. Reading the story about his heart attack episode was truly Trainor...definitely a good chuckle. I always so enjoyed sitting with him and listening to his his laugh, and, seeing his wonderful smile just made my day. Even through his journey with dementia, he could still brighten a room. Thinking of you during this difficult time. Sincerely, Sue
