It is with great respect and sympathy I write this message and explain why Bill was one of the most influential persons in my life. I met him in 1969 at his office in Wellington Square Mall. He convinced me that registering at Fanshawe in the Recreation Leadership Program was a good fit for me. When I graduated in 71 the College posted a new position in Athletics - Athletic Technician. I won the competition and launched a new Campus Recreation Program. I was reporting to Les Zoltai and Bill. Little did I know that Bill was overseeing the situation and supporting the Athletics operation. I continued to assert myself which culminated in a distinguish 42 year career at Fanshawe which ended two years ago upon my retirement. I have Bill to thank for this and the present comfortable lifestyle Dana and my family live today. I am sure Bill kept his eye on me all the way and I will continue to keep his memory in high esteem.

May I offer my condolences to you all on the loss of your loved one. I am glad that I was able to have a nice conversation with him in Cherryhill Mall some months ago. I also have many fond memories of our many years working in close proximity at Fanshawe College. He was a true gentleman always!

Sue and family: I was a member of Bill's staff for a number of years, prior to succeeding him as VP. He was a great person, ethical and dedicated to the College and the welfare of the communities we serve. It was my pleasure to have known him and to have worked with him. Sincere sympathy to you in your loss.3JBX5
