Mr. Dodd was an inspiration to our father Gordon Pritchard as he provided a new learning opportunity in the lighting business when the London operation worked with the Chatham location. Mr. Dodd will be missed and my thoughts are with the family.

Walter was an icon in the lighting industry. His personality and presence in a room was inescapable. His positive attitude was infectious. He was always kind and polite, even when he had something negative to tell you. He taught me a lot about being gracious and curteous even when he might have been upset or under pressure. He was a graduate of the school of business that valued respect for others, honesty, ethics, and loyalty. As a young person, he served as a role model for me and for many others- a person with a lot of "class" and someone who could talk easily with just about anyone, someone who was very engaging, and a person who always added insight to an issue or a problem. So for many of us, we have very fond memories of Walter - happy, dynamic, gracious, honest, and engaging. He will be sorely missed. May you know of no more sorrow and may your memories of him serve as a blessing and a guideline in your own lives.
