Obituary of Max Valinsky

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at L.H.S.C. University Hospital on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at the age of 85. Dear husband of 60 years to Betty. Father of Sarah, Ruth and Michelle. Grandfather of 5 and Great-Grandfather of 6. Max owned and operated Dominion Department Store and Bits ‘n’ Pieces for 25 years in Tilsonburg, ON. Through his good work and generosity in the community, he was named Man of the Year by J.N.F. and again by the Jewish Community of a man of many good deeds and great humour. Max touched all who met him and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. We are celebrating his life and memories on Friday, February 14, 2014 at 11:30 at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street (between Waterloo & Colborne St).
