I was so very saddened at hearing of Bill's passing - tho he was very ill - I expected to see him again. Bill was one of my first research "victims" ( I used to call him that and he would always laugh) at the Ivey Eye when I first started working there - he was a dream patient - never missed a visit - he became a friend and a willing "actor" in our AMD video - we always laughed about how many times he was made to come in and out the front door of the old Ivey !! I will remember him as a true gentleman and a friend. My thoughts are with you at this sad time.

Dear Colleen and family, So sorry to hear about your Dad. But didn't he have a full life, never stopping in his quest to help people and share a laugh. It has been a long time since we spent time together, but the memories always live on. My thoughts and prayers are with you; it's a difficult time. I would always welcome a call or e-mail from you if you wish to chat.
