I work at Shoppers Drug Mart at Deveron and Commissioners. And Peter was our regular customer, he would buy his milk and lottery tickets. And always talked about the Leafs. I know he was so excited when he went to see a game with one of his daughters. He would love it if they won the cup.(me too, i am a huge fan too.) I am representing all of the staff and sending to you our condolences to all of his family. We will miss him at the store very much. He was like family. Lori

I've felt a part of this family for about 11 years and nobody made me feel more a part of it than Gramps did. You'll never ever meet a man like he was, he was caring, loving and always had something nice to say. He thought the world of everyone he met and treated them that way. My deepest condolences go out to the Greene and Jarvis families who lost a very special part of their families. Gramps will always remain in my heart as we was a huge impact on who I am today. You'll never be forgotten. " A beautiful life that came to an end, He died as he lived, everyone's friend. In our hearts a memory he will always be kept, of one we loved and will never forget."

Gramps was an incredible man. He was so loving and caring, he would do anything for his family and even others outside of it. He was always so happy when everyone was together, making us all laugh and telling stories. He was loved by everyone he met. I've known Gramps and the Jarvis/Greene family for many years, it seems as if I lost my own grandpa. He always put a smile on everyone's face, whether he was around or if someone saw his unique green truck at Tim Hortons. It just made me smile and think, "there's Gramps." Shelley, Alexa and Ryan, Gramps loved you all so much and he knew how much you loved him. He will be forever missed.

Dear Gramps, You will always be remember by me as the funny, caring and loving grandfather and father to Shelley, Ryan and Lexa. The first time I met you, you told me right away (jokingly) that Stefan was trouble, and that if he gave me any heck, you would "beat him up" for me. But of course you were joking, as you always did when you talked with me. You were always happy when ever you were surrounded by friends and family and from what I saw, you would do anything for them, if you knew it would make them happy. I know that you are no longer with us here in body, but you will always be here in spirit and in our hearts forever. We all loved and still love you Gramps, please watch over us. To Shelley, Ryan and Lexa, I know this is a difficult time when you loose someone as special as Gramps, but just know that you were and still are wonderful in his eyes and he will always be with you where ever you are. I am so sorry for your loss, and your family is in my thoughts and prays. Love always, Angela

Having grown up without a memory of my grandfather,Peter played that role for me. in 1999 I moved to Ontario and lived with Pete for a couple of years, during this time he was always there for me,to listen and for advice,he drove me to work, picked me up,anywhere I needed to go anytime..he was a good friend, there was nothing I couldn't talk to him about. He and I shared many secrets,to this day they remain secrets..I will always miss you Pedro. RIP
