Obituary of Peter William Charles Jarvis

It is with incredible sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Peter William Charles Jarvis on February 23, 2012 in his 70th year. Beloved father of Shelley Jarvis-Greene (Randy Greene), Troy Jarvis (Yvonne Laroque) and Dianne Halsey (Geoff Halsey). Loving Gramps to Ryan and Alexa Greene, Jessie, Nathan and Caitlin Halsey, and Merrissa, Matt and Maggie Jarvis. Brother of Sheila, Chester, Wayne and Brenda. Predeceased by Connie, Dorothy, Donnie and Barry. Peter will be missed by his extended family Rob Burt, Butchie Gordon, Danny Long and his numerous nieces and nephews. He was known and loved by all. Peter loved the Leafs, the Raiders, fishing and the London Beefeaters but most of all his grandkids. He treated everyone he met like family, and all that knew him called him Gramps. Gramps, you are no longer in our lives to share but in our hearts, you are always there. Friends will be received at Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd., (1 block east of Egerton St.) on Monday from 7-9 p.m and Tuesday from 12-1 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Evans Chapel on Tuesday, February 28th, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Donations made to The Arthritis Society will be acknowledged by the family.
